MRVBC new BC zone trail work day!
The new BC zone on Camel’s Hump NEEDS US! If you missed the news about this zone, see our past newsletters Fall 2026 and Fall 2025 on our website mrvbc.org/news. Let’s get out there and build some snow karma – it’s time to clean up the two primary downhill lines.
Working with Vermont Dept of Forests, Parks, and Rec, the Catamount Trail Association and MRVBC have been out several times this Fall already to “flag” and then cut the selected trees that will allow us just enough space to play. Expect a full day of good solid work removing the trees, clearing underbrush, and full contact leaf peeping. Plus make buddies, check out the layout of the new zone, get intel and gear tips, and expect to hang for a little parking lot apres.
To volunteer, please sign up at the website link provided, or email us [email protected] if you have questions. And remember, your membership helps make all this happen – become a CTA/MRVBC member today!
Come out and be part of the community, help maintain our trails so we can play safely this winter and have adventures right in our backyard!
