Paddling

In the spring, white water enthusiasts take on the Mad River in their canoes and kayaks which, fed by melting mountain snows, lives up to its name. During the summer, paddlers head for Blueberry Lake and Waterbury Reservoir or enjoy guided trips on nearby lakes and rivers booked through local outfitters. Canoes and kayaks can be rented locally and shuttle service is available.
