SUMMARY:2026 Mad River Triathlon
DESCRIPTION:The Mad River Triathlon is back!! Mark your calendars for the most exciting event of mud season\, a four-sport triathlon celebrating the beauty of our valley and raising funds to benefit four local conservation and recreation nonprofits. \nParticipants can enter as an individual\, team racing together\, relay team\, or just for certain legs. The course consists of a 6 mile run\, 6 mile paddle down the Mad River\, 10 mile bike\, and 2-3 mile ski tour up and down Mount Ellen. Stick around for the after party at Mount Ellen to cheer on finishers with live music\, awards ceremony\, raffle\, and silent auction.

SUMMARY:MRVBC end of season pop up tour and tailgate!
DESCRIPTION:We’ve nailed down the date – this Monday March 30 – so grab your sunscreen and skins for one last hurrah! We’ll pop up the MRVBC tent and fire up the grill to serve up some burgers and dogs – you bring your friends\, stories\, and stoke. \nThis will be a great chance to hear about all that MRVBC has going on: a new BC zone\, a new youth program\, our slot at Lawson’s as a SIP recipient\, and of course all the events and workshops we will serve up again next year.  Want to get involved or give feedback to help us shape sustainable human powered winter recreation??  Come on out and hang with us!  If you plan to join the group on the uphill tour\, please email Keith  (Keith Berkelhamer berkelhamerkeith@gmail.com) for the details.  Otherwise just show up in the parking lot starting around 5pm. \nAnd a huge shout out to Sugarbush\, one of our amazing sponsors who has supported and hosted so many of our events season over season!
