SUMMARY:Amendment: Knell of a Nation\, participatory art performance
DESCRIPTION:Amendment: Knell of a Nation is a ritual performance and participatory art action that draws on the healing powers of water\, fire\, and earth. Participants are invited to write offerings for a new social contract on seeded postcards that will be planted and grown in a garden open to the public. \nThis performance engages thought-provoking political imagery and includes the ritual use of fire\, conducted in accordance with state and local laws. The performance will be recorded; by attending\, participants consent to being filmed. The artwork runs about 30 minutes\, followed by a facilitated conversation to share thoughts and process feelings together. \nConquering hate takes radical love\, radical imagination\, and radical self-care. Your presence is appreciated.
