Campers will be guided through a variety of creative experiences that encourage creativity\, experimentation\, confidence\, and self-expression. \nEach day\, campers will have the option to dive into different mediums – ranging from painting and mixed media to sculpture and design – working on unique\, engaging projects that keep the week fresh and exciting. During the week\, the group will also collaborate on a special outdoor art piece designed to live on-site as a semi-permanent installation\, giving campers a chance to contribute to something lasting and meaningful. \nAll materials\, as well as snacks and drinks\, will be provided – just bring your creativity! She also attended the San Francisco Art Institute for an intensive summer program where she studied Painting and Photography. Over the past two years\, she has grown her own art business\, creating a wide range of work\, including murals\, hand-painted skateboards\, block prints\, and custom canvas commissions. Alongside her artistic practice\, Anna also has experience working with children and brings a fun\, encouraging\, and engaging approach to teaching.

DESCRIPTION:A comedic glimpse into the world of Freestyle Canoeing\, following some of the country’s top canoeists as they travel to a competition in northern Maine to duke it out for the title of “Top Paddler.”\nTime & Location \nAug 21\, 2026\, 7:00 PM\nBig Picture Theater & Cafe\, 48 Carroll Rd\, Waitsfield\, VT 05673\, USA\nAbout the event \nScreening Monday\, August 21st @ 7pm to followed by a Q & A with the director Samuel Dunning.\nCanoe Dig It? is a mockumentary comedy about a fictional canoeing competition in Northern Maine for the nonfictional sport of “Freestyle Canoeing”\, a form of performative canoeing best described as “canoe dancing”. Competitors paddle out and spin\, dip\, and “dance” in circles in perfect synchronization with the music of their choice.\nThe film tracks a handful of quirky and curiously relatable competitors vying for the blue ribbon at the Moosehead Regional Finals. We follow our cadre of diverse canoeists’- a cutthroat perfectionist\, a backwoods natural\, an aging underdog\, a squabbling couple of summer camp owners\, and a hard\ntheir personal lives\, their eclectic preparation methods\, and learning what it takes to make it to the top of the Freestyling world.\nWhat does it take to bring home the “Top Paddler” ribbon? Athleticism? Technique? Core Strength? Song choice? These and all your other burning questions will be answered!
