The Mad River Valley Chamber’s new Retail Planning Calendar is a valuable tool designed to help our business community stay organized, connected, and collaborative throughout the year.

This shared calendar serves as a central hub where retailers can:

• View key retail dates: See upcoming holidays, seasonal promotions, Chamber events, and community happenings that may impact store traffic and sales.

• Plan your marketing and promotions: Align sales, promotions, and marketing efforts with regional events to maximize exposure and drive traffic.

• Coordinate with fellow businesses: Avoid scheduling conflicts and find opportunities to collaborate with neighboring retailers.

• Stay informed: See at a glance what’s happening around the Valley that may be helpful for your own planning.

The Retail Planning Calendar is an evolving resource that we will continue to update throughout the year based on input from our retailers, sector meetings, and community partners.

How to Use the Calendar

• View the Calendar: You have the ability to add a comment. Just click on the text bubble icon –  

• Collaborate and Create Events or Promotions: Have a sale, special event, or promotion you’d like to add? Please email the Chamber office and we’ll make sure it is added into the on-going marketing planning process.

• Submit Event to the Community Calendar: Make sure it is included in the MRV’s most widely used community calendar. Hit the blue SUBMIT button to have your event included.

• Attend Retail Council Meetings: Regular meetings offer the chance to discuss upcoming opportunities, share ideas, and help shape the calendar going forward.
