Hyde Away Restaurant

The Hyde Away is a farmstead, circa 1824, with a full service restaurant and Tavern. Nestled between the quaint, historic villages of Waitsfield and Warren, the inn is a friendly, comfortable haven with warm hospitality, free WiFi, and a wood burning fireplace.

Enjoy casual dining and fresh New American cuisine in the restaurant. Visit the Tavern for Vermont micro-brews on tap, a cozy fire in the winter, or relaxing with your friends. Throughout the inn, we’ve brought some local history back to life. You’ll find historical photos, dating back to the early 1900’s.

No pets are allowed inside the Inn, dining room, or tavern.

Enjoy learning about Hyde Away’s story as an integral part of Vermont’s ski history. One of the original 5 lodging properties opened for Mad River Glen’s first season (1948/49), we have a 75+ year legacy of skiing and winter sports fun as the sport grew from the early years to the present.
