SUMMARY:Throttle Up for Hockey – Motorcycle Poker Run & Community Event
DESCRIPTION:Central Vermont Youth Hockey is excited to host Throttle Up for Hockey on Saturday\, October 3\, 2026 — a motorcycle poker run and community event supporting youth hockey in Central Vermont. \nThe day will begin with a motorcycle poker run starting at Norwich University – Kreitzberg Arena in Northfield\, with riders finishing at the B.O.R. Arena in Barre. \nMotorcycle Poker Run\nSaturday\, October 3\nNorwich University – Kreitzberg Arena\nRider registration: 10:00–11:30 AM \nRider registration is $60 through September 23 and increases to $75 beginning September 24. Motorcycle passengers\, additional poker hands\, and event T-shirts are also available. \nYou don’t have to ride a motorcycle to participate. \nFrom 11:00 AM–5:00 PM\, the B.O.R. SUMMARY:Valley Dirt Fest
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the 2nd annual Valley Dirt Fest. Join us for a day of guided mountain bike rides throughout the vast Mad River Riders trail network. There will be rides for all ages\, interests\, and abilities. The $25 admission includes unlimited guided rides\, one free shuttle ride and free snacks\, water and sport drink to keep you fueled and hydrated throughout the day. (Admission is free for 18 and under.) Additional shuttle rides can be purchased for $10 each. Multiple swimming holes await to cool you off between rides. Hang out for the after party in Cousin’s Meadow with live music and great beer. All proceeds support trail maintenance and construction throughout the network. \nReserve a spot on the shuttle through Bike Reg. But\, not all rides are shuttled. Plenty of rides will pedal right out of Madbush Falls. Ask about the ride options at registration and we’ll help you pick the best ones for you and your group. \n8 to 10 AM – Registration\, coffee\, and breakfast at Madbush Falls \n10 AM – Guided rides start and the first shuttle departs Madbush Falls. \n10 AM to 2:30 PM – The shuttle runs continuously all day long to take the bite out of the climbs. Catch it at Madbush Falls or Stark Mountain Bike Works every half hour. \n3 to 6 PM – After party in Cousin’s Meadow with live music and an outdoor bar. Delicious food for sale at both Madbush Falls and Silk Road at Cousin’s Brewing.
