SUMMARY:State to Maine Legislative Conversation
DESCRIPTION:With the election behind us and the 2027 legislative session approaching\, the Mad River Valley Chamber of Commerce will host the Vermont Chamber of Commerce and Vermont Futures Project for a timely conversation about the issues facing Vermont businesses. \nThe discussion will bring together what the data tells us\, what local businesses are experiencing and what policymakers will be considering in Montpelier. \nTopics will include: \n\nAnalysis of the election results and incoming Legislature\nFindings from the Vermont Business Climate Survey\nKey policy opportunities and challenges expected during the 2027 session\nPractical ways businesses can engage in the policymaking process\n\nMost importantly\, this will be an opportunity for members of the Mad River Valley business community to share what they are seeing and experiencing. The program will include plenty of time for candid discussion\, questions and conversation\, along with a little time to mingle. \nThis is intended as a business-community conversation rather than a legislative forum. All Mad River Valley businesspeople are encouraged to attend.
