Founded by Slightly Stoopid keyboard player Paul Wolstencroft\, the band has a heavy influence from Jamaican organ legend Jackie Mittoo\, as well as the classic boogaloo albums of the late 60’s – Boston Veteran Tommy Benedetti (John Brown’s Body) holds down the steady rhythm of the drums\, and Van Gordon Martin\, (Dub Apocalypse) blazes rhythms and solos alike on the guitar. Aside from touring the New England scene for the last 5 years\, OGT also has 4 albums to date – Alakazam\, Monster Sound\, Blazin in Brooklyn\, and Lunar Dub.VPAL recording artist Soul Rebel Project are two time winners of the Boston Music Award’s international artist of the year.
