DESCRIPTION:The 25th annual Waterbury Arts Fest and Block Party will take place July 10-11 on Railroad Street behind the historic train station in downtown Waterbury. \nOn Saturday\, more than 100 artists and vendors will fill the Arts Market on the lawn at Pilgrim Park. Visitors can shop for handmade art and crafts\, participate in family-friendly activities at MakerSphere’s Creation Station\, bid in a silent auction featuring artwork donated by participating artists\, savor offerings from local food vendors\, and take in a full day of live entertainment. \nThe Green Mountain Performing Arts dancers will kick off the festivities at 10:00 a.m.\, followed by performances from Season of Yes\, Pluto Rising\, and Folderol. The day concludes with Soulstice\, whose high-energy bend of ska and reggae provides a fitting festival finale. \nThe Waterbury Arts Fest is the primary annual fundraiser for Discover Waterbury\, with donations suggested.
