Our market vendors are a carefully curated group of local Vermont businesses that provide the highest quality products to the market. Every Saturday\, rain or shine\, mid-May to mid-October\, you’ll find us on the Mad River Green! \nLocal produce\, plant starts\, maple\, honey\, flowers\, seedlings\, eggs\, meats\, cheeses\, fish\, crafts\, art\, clothes\, bread\, baked goods\, coffee\, spirits\, cider\, mead and prepared foods all by Vermonters. Every Saturday there is live entertainment. Visitors are welcome to bring their pets on leash. \nOur market is proud to offer many food benefit options for our community\, learn more about them below! \n3 Squares VT / SNAP \nThe Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) offers nutrition assistance to millions of eligible\, low-income individuals and families and provides economic benefits to communities. In fact\, SNAP is the largest program in the domestic hunger safety net. The Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) works with key stakeholders in every state to ensure that those eligible for nutrition assistance can make informed decisions about applying for the program and can access benefits. \nFarm to Family\nFarm to Family is a program funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). These coupons are in denominations of $6.00 and helps individuals buy fresh fruits and vegetables\, locally grown from Vermont farms and at Farmers Markets. SUMMARY:Family Gnome Making Workshop
DESCRIPTION:In this workshop\, adults & children ages 5+ will explore hand-building techniques to create their very own whimsical gnomes. Students will be able to personalize their gnomes with colorful underglazes. Examples will be provided for inspiration. \nThese little gnomes will make great gifts and decorations! There is no limit to ho many gnomes participants can make. \nPieces will be fired by us\, finished with a clear glaze and ready for pick up in 2-3 weeks. All materials are included.
