Followed by a discussion and Q&A with your local fire department.\nAbout the film\nPlease join us for this amazing documentary to honor the lives of Terry Brown and Dana Fuller. This film will leave you with a deep appreciation for their ultimate sacrifice\, but also for the potential sacrifice that all firefighters are willing to accept in their duties. To protect life and property is a Firefighter’s duty. On December 29\, 1981\, at 6:12 pm\, Terry Brown and Dana Fuller were called to duty when a fire erupted at the Star Hotel in Bellows Falls\, Vermont. Using never before seen archival photos\, the producers Mike Smith\, Sue Smith\, Marty Gallagher\, and Alex Stradling tell the stories of the night of the Star Hotel Fire; the rescues of the occupants trapped by the fire\, the bravery of the firefighters\, the leadership challenge of the new Fire Chief\, and the tragic loss of two young men. \nAdditional Information\nAll entry donations will be given to Memorial Park in Bellows Falls\, VT\, to aid in the maintenance and desired improvements. The park was constructed to honor the lives of the fallen firefighters.\nThere will be local fire department representatives and members from the film available to discuss the film\, answer questions\, and reflect.\nThis film is sponsored by YOUR local fire department members\, and all entry fees will be on a “pay as you can ” basis.

DESCRIPTION:The Mad River Rug Hookers meet downstairs at the Warren library on the second Friday of every month. Our monthly “hook in” a chance to socialize\, solicit rug hooking advice\, admire the works of many rug hookers and meet new hookers! \nWe have many new rug hookers\, and more are welcome. We have an introductory kit for $30\, which includes wool\, a hook and a portable hoop frame. Sandra Grant is a very accomplished rug hooking instructor to teach the basics skills and application of wool and fiber for desired effects. \nIf you are interested in attending or learning to hook wool\, or have questions contact Sandy at slgrant22@hotmail.com to share your questions or to be included in her Monthly email invite and ensure enough new member kits.

Students will be able to personalize their gnomes with colorful underglazes. Examples will be provided for inspiration. \nThese little gnomes will make great gifts and decorations!
