Her portraits invite us to consider empathy\, labor\, vulnerability\, and our relationships with other species. \nGeorge Shenk\, community activist\, experimental farmer\, writer\, and creative\, explores the human labor of sustaining small farms and the vital connections between land\, food\, animals\, and community. \nTogether\, their work asks us to reconsider how we value land\, labor\, food\, and life and reminds us that ecological health and community well-being are deeply connected.

DESCRIPTION:Take a foliage lift ride on America’s favorite Single Chair\, first chair up is at 10 AM and the last chair is loaded at 2:30 PM. Foliage lift ride tickets are good for a round trip from base to summit and back down again\, the cost is $20 for adults and $15 for juniors and seniors (free for season pass holders). Foliage lift ride tickets can be purchased in person at the ticket window. Stark’s Pub\, the General Store and Ticket Booth will all be open\, please see our operational hours listed below. \nStark’s Pub: 11:00 AM – 8:30 PM \nLift Operations: 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM \nGeneral Store: 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM \nTickets: 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM

DESCRIPTION:Our annual Photo Show celebrates the diversity of contemporary photography\, featuring works in black and white and color that range from realism to abstraction. Displayed throughout the historic Red Barn galleries\, the exhibition includes both large-format and intimate photographs by amateur and professional photographers. \nFrom Vermont landscapes and wildlife to experimental and conceptual imagery\, the exhibition reflects the evolving nature of photography and the many ways artists interpret the world around them.
