On view from June 5 through August 27\, the exhibition examines how patterns\, structures\, and processes found in nature are translated into typography\, sculpture\, projection\, materials\, and spatial interventions.\nThrough layered forms of communication—including text\, image\, and three-dimensional design—the exhibition invites viewers to consider how visual language shapes perception\, behavior\, and collective understanding. Both playful and intentional\, the works reveal the quiet ways design mediates our relationship with the natural world and with one another.\nFeatured artists include Tina Christensen\, Leslie Fry\, Michael Jager\, Susan Smereka\, and Elise Whittemore.\nAn opening reception will be held on June 5 from 5:30 to 7:00 PM. The public is invited to attend and experience an exhibition that reflects on the subtle dialogue between nature\, design\, and contemporary life.

Our monthly “hook in” a chance to socialize\, solicit rug hooking advice\, admire the works of many rug hookers and meet new hookers! \nWe have many new rug hookers\, and more are welcome. We have an introductory kit for $30\, which includes wool\, a hook and a portable hoop frame. DESCRIPTION:The Valley Artists Guild proudly announces the 14th Annual Green Mountain Watercolor Exhibition (GMWE) —an acclaimed celebration of watercolor painting that has grown from a grassroots show in 2012 into a nationally recognized summer exhibition. \nThe 2026 exhibition will be held June 11 through July 19 at the Historic Red Barn Galleries at Lareau Farm & Forest\, located on Route 100 in Waitsfield\, Vermont. \nFeaturing the work of over 60 accomplished watercolor artists from across the United States\, the exhibition draws more than 3\,000 visitors each year to experience a vibrant and diverse range of contemporary watercolor painting\, including entries in conjunction with the Whiskey Painters of America—it’s a show within a show! \nThis year\, more than $7\,000 in awards will be presented to artists demonstrating exceptional skill and vision in the medium. \nThe exhibition has received international attention\, including recognition by the French publication Art of Watercolour as one of America’s premier summer watercolor exhibitions. SUMMARY:GMS Big Band Performing - Bring Your Dancing Shoes!
DESCRIPTION:Green Mountain Swing\, a 17-piece big band\, is holding a concert and swing dance to raise funds to support the GMS Music Scholarship Fund. This event originated in the Mad River Valley\, first at the Valley Players and then at The Big Picture Theater in the early 2010’s. The Scholarship Fund honors former music director\, Shep Resnik\, from Warren. Scholarships support music lessons\, music camps and workshops for local middle and high school students.\n“As well as supporting the Scholarship Fund\, our playing provides us with the opportunity to continue to grow as musicians and\, in the jazz tradition\, to mentor next generations\,” according to Pierre Swick\, trombone player\, formerly from Fayston\, who has been in the band for two decades. Band members range from their teens and early twenties to their 80’s.\nThe band’s repertoire includes early swing through bop\, funk and contemporary jazz\, Latin\, and vintage rock tunes\, appealing to dancers and music lovers of all ages. While there\, you can also visit the work of local artists at the new SEABA art gallery adjacent to the music venue.

The commanders-in-chief of reality are not only assassinating truth but have declared war on the innocent everything of the world. Morality demons claim divine origin\, govern the population with unidentified power\, and oppress shamelessly and unaccountably with history-honored illegality. Under and oversized puppets now battle the insufferable demons and the tricks of political mayhem. The world\, unaware of its upside-down situation\, must be confronted!”
