“People of a Feather” Film Screening

Join Friends of the Mad River at the Big Picture Theatre for a special screening of the film, “People of a Feather”: a documentary about the subsistence lifestyle of the Inuit on Canada’s Belcher Islands, and how that lifestyle is threatened by the massive hydroelectric dams powering Quebec and Vermont. The 90-min film will be followed by a facilitated discussion of its local relevance.

Tickets will be available at the door for $12, and half of all of ticket proceeds will go directly to support local conservation work in the Mad River Valley.
