Mountains of the Moon – A Fundraiser for the Mad River Glen Freeski Team
Come get fired up for the season, with the Mad River Glen Freeski team as we present a regionally exclusive showing of Chris Benchetler’s latest film, “Mountains of the Moon”!
Set to the Grateful Dead’s timeless music, Mountains of the Moon follows artist-skier Chris Benchetler on a surreal nighttime journey through ocean, river, and mountain landscapes, exploring unseen links between sport, life, music, and the living earth.
The night will be full of prizes, raffles, free swag, and opening films, including a few short edits from the team at Blizzard Skis, as well as “Past Due” from Jukebox Films – featuring MRG coaches Adrian Hayden and Will Miemis.
This year, thanks to our team sponsors, we have a ton of great prizes available, including an event-exclusive silent auction and raffle where you can win your choice of Blizzard Skis or Tecnica Boots. While you’ll also have a chance to bid on all of our silent auctions items that are available online, attending the event in person gives you the best chance to win!
All told, this is going to be the preseason event of the year in the Valley – you won’t want to miss it!
Huge thank you to our team sponsors: Blizzard Skis, Tecnica Boots, SkiEssentials, and Mehuron’s Supermarket for helping us make this happen!
