A Tour on the Civil Rights Trail

In this kickoff to Black History Month, Warren resident Cherri Sherman shares moving experiences, photos, and documents from her five-day, interfaith tour on The Civil Rights Trail including stops in Birmingham, Selma, Montgomery, and Atlanta.

In these cities, the tour group visited multiple historic sites and learned from first person accounts by Black Americans who knew Rev. Martin Luther King Jr and whose lives were forever affected by the events of the 1950’s and 1960’s.
