Mad River Valley Women in Business

The Mad River Valley Women in Business (MRVWIB) is a network of women business leaders dedicated to connecting, supporting, and growing together. The group was founded in 2021 during a period of significant change in the local economy. The MRV Chamber observed a surge in new businesses, an influx of new residents, turnover in existing establishments, and overall growth in chamber membership—much of it driven by women entrepreneurs.

To provide a platform for collaboration, access to resources, and support for business goals, the MRVWIB was created to bring women together and strengthen the community.

The group holds bi-monthly meetings at different venues across the Mad River Valley, usually on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings, often featuring guest speakers. In the months between, members are invited to informal gatherings at the MRV Chamber Welcome Center to connect, share ideas, and continue the conversation.
