Independent Retailer Month is a nationwide campaign that highlights the crucial role small businesses play in our economy. According to the U.S. Census Bureau and the Small Business Administration, independent retailers employ over half of the U.S. workforce (non-farm)—and many of those jobs are right here on Bridge Street, in the Mad River Green Shops, and all throughout the Valley.
