Direct Support Professional Appreciation Day 2026

On Wednesday, September 9, 2026, Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), the individuals they support, families, community partners and policymakers from all across Vermont will gather on the Vermont State House Lawn for a morning of recognition and celebration.
Held during National Direct Support Professional Recognition Week, this statewide event honors the DSPs who help Vermonters with developmental disabilities live, work and thrive in their communities.
