Mad River Mentoring

Mad River Mentoring (MRM) was conceived and created by a dedicated advisory board with valuable technical support from MENTOR Vermont. The vision of MRM is to provide a community-based mentoring program in the Mad River Valley which will enhance the quality of life for all youth.

Connecting Youth
Your child can develop a supportive relationship with another adult, share interests and skills, and learn new ones. We match young people with an adult mentor based on shared interests and hobbies. The pair meet 3-4 times per month doing things like taking a walk, getting a creemee, playing a game, kayaking, and whatever else they both enjoy doing. As a parent or guardian you’re involved in every step of the process from the selection of the mentor to activities and events.
